A neighbourhood in the north of Kuala Lumpur, off Jalan Ipoh, with its own KTM station, water on both sides of the line and a metropolitan park a short walk away.
Where it is
North of the city, one stop from Batu Caves.
Taman Wahyu lies between Kepong to the west, Sentul to the south and Batu Caves to the north. Jalan Ipoh runs beside the station; the Middle Ring Road 2 passes within about 2 km and the DUKE expressway within about 2.5 km. The main postcode is 51200; some addresses on Jalan Ipoh use 68100.

A large flood retention pond north-east of the station. Han-Ya Wahyu’s site is about 70 m from its edge.
On a retention pond, water levels and edges are managed for flood control. Ask to see the view in both a wet week and a dry one.

Taman Wahyu (KC04) is on the KTM Komuter Batu Caves–Pulau Sebang Line: one stop from Batu Caves, three from Sentul and seven from KL Sentral. At Kampung Batu, the next stop south, you can change to the MRT Putrajaya Line.

It suits you if
- you travel by rail towards Sentul, KL Sentral or Mid Valley — or want the MRT one stop away;
- you want green space close by: Batu Metropolitan Park’s lakeside paths are a short walk from the station;
- you are weighing a new launch against a completed home, and want both in one neighbourhood;
- you head north often: Batu Caves is one stop by train.
Weigh it carefully if
- you need very frequent trains — the Komuter runs to a timetable, so check it against your hours;
- a lake view is the point — two of the lakes are flood retention ponds, so see them in different weather;
- you plan to live beside a building site — Han-Ya Wahyu is under construction until its expected completion in 2031;
- you want a uniform new district — Taman Wahyu mixes older terrace streets and shops with new towers.
Visit twice: once on a weekday at rush hour, once on a weekend afternoon. Taman Wahyu shows two different faces.
